While the previous modules focused on the fire itself and the building’s defenses, Industrial Safety & Risk Management looks at the bigger picture: the systems, people, and processes that prevent catastrophes in high-stakes environments like factories, refineries, and power plants

While Industrial Safety focuses on preventing massive technical disasters (explosions, leaks, structural collapses), Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) is the human-centric discipline. This module focuses on the day-to-day well-being of the individual worker, aiming to prevent both sudden injuries and long-term illnesses.

While the previous modules focused on science, engineering, and prevention, Emergency Response & Rescue is the "action" module. It covers the transition from a controlled environment to a crisis state and the high-pressure tactics required to save lives and stabilize a scene.

In the field of fire and safety, the Legal Aspects & Standards module moves the conversation from physical science to the courtroom and the regulatory office. It explores the "rules of the game"—the mandatory laws, voluntary standards, and liability frameworks that govern how safety must be managed in society.
